Where do I find my 1099 Tax Form?

Since IZEA payments are made via the third-party network PayPal, you will not be receiving a 1099-MISC from IZEA.

Per the IRS, payments made with a credit card or payment card and certain other types of payments, including third-party network transactions, must be reported on Form 1099-K by the payment settlement entity under section 6050W and are not subject to reporting on Form 1099-MISC.

Of note: 1099-K thresholds are set at $20,000 + 200 transactions as of 2023. The previous year was set at $600. You more than likely will have to confirm your identity on PayPal, if you have not already done so. This will be for tax purposes and, if not confirmed, will more than likely cause a delay in any payments until it is done.

Please reach out to PayPal directly for any questions regarding 1099-Ks. More information on this can be found here Tax Information Reporting by PayPal
