Twitter- Create a Twitter Status Update Opportunity

Now that have created your first Campaign you will need to create individual opportunities for Creators to participate in. When you are ready to Create your Opportunity, make sure you are on the Sponsorship tab and not on the Content tab. The Content tab is for creating opportunities without social distribution.

1. Click Create New Opportunity

2. Select the Status Update Opportunity Type and Opportunity Platform

3. Define Your Opportunity

This form will help you explain the campaign details to the Creators and let them know what they are expected to do. Make sure to put everything the Creators will need to know in this form to cut back on back and forth communication through the Offer Chat tool. Not sure what to write? 3.1 Upload Photo

This will be the icon for your Opportunity.

1. Click the Choose Image button.

2. Select a photo you have used in the past or a file from your computer.

3. If you uploaded a new image, you can crop your image and then click Save.

3.2 Continue filling out the following information.


This will be the name that the Creators will see when the Opportunity appears in their dashboard.

Marketer Label:

This is the internal name of your Opportunity to help you organize your different Opportunities. You can make this label as detailed as possible for better Opportunity management. 


Within this section, you should provide the Creators with a brief overview of your company/product and the overall goals for your campaign.

You can use the following example as a guide for writing your own Opportunity Overview: 

"Are you in need of a beach getaway? Coastal Travel, Inc has the solution! We have partnered with Ft Lauderdale Beach to bring travelers great discounts on beachfront properties and we need your help to spread the word! What could be better than spending a relaxing day on a beach lined with palm trees and crystal blue water?! We surely can't think of anything better!"

Ideal Candidate:

This section allows you to describe the types of candidates you are looking to have post for you. For example, "moms with children between the ages of 5-10" or "college students enrolled in at least two classes this semester."


The Requirements section should tell the Creators exactly what they are expected to do and should provide them with a sample Tweet. Creators will be able to tweak this message to fit their style of speaking however you will have final approval of the message. Each Requirement box will create a new bullet point. 

You can use the following examples as a guide for writing your own Opportunity Requirements: 

-Let your readers know that Coastal Travel, Inc. has great deals on travel this fall.

-Sample Tweet: "Thinking about a beach getaway? @CoastalTravel has some great deals on Ft Lauderdale travel! #beachtrip"

-Sample Tweet: "I just found our next vacation spot thanks to @CoastalTravel ! Can't wait to visit Ft Lauderdale beaches. #beachtrip"

Default Scheduling: 

This allows you to set the earliest date and time for the posts to start going live.

Destination Link:

This is the link that will be displayed in the Tweet. 

Additional Elements:

Clicking the Add Element button will allow you to include a Hashtag or Mention. These can be marked as required.

Opportunity Type:

Open Bidding: Open bidding Opportunities will be sent to everyone who meets your search criteria (as set on the Targeting page in the next step). This will allow the Creators to bid on the Opportunity to show their interest. From there, you will be able to hand select the Creators you would like to participate in the campaign.

Invite Only: Invite Only Opportunities will only be sent to Creators you choose after the Opportunity is created. 

Short URL:

Select the Short URL format you would like to be included in the blog post.

Maximum Bid (For Open Bidding only):  

The Maximum Bid allows you to set pricing parameters so that Creators cannot bid over a certain price. 

Terms & Conditions:

Select a Terms & Conditions document from the drop-down or upload a new set of Terms. 

Content Creation Time

With the Content Creation Time you can dictate how long a Creator has to create their content. You have the option to choose anywhere between 3 and 30 days for the content to be created. Any number greater than 4 will be calendar days and not business days. 

4. Target Your Creator

This page will allow you to set your targeting criteria so that your Opportunity is only presented to Creators who meet your campaign criteria. You can check the Advanced options box to also target by life stage, education, and additional audience criteria.

5. Review Your Opportunity.

The Review page will allow you to edit any of the previous pages before the Opportunity is sent to the Review Team. All Opportunities are reviewed within 3 business days. 



When your Opportunity has been approved, Creators will begin bidding to be considered for the campaign. You will receive an email from our team if your Opportunity needs to be revised:
